Bank Offers & EMI

Set up bank card discounts and no-cost EMI plans for your store — what admins configure today, and what's not shown to shoppers yet.

Bank card discounts and EMI (instalment) plans are two of the most common ways Indian shoppers expect to see savings on a checkout page. The Offers & EMI screen lets you record which banks and cards qualify for a discount, and which EMI plans are available, from one place.

Go to Settings in the left navigation, then open the Offers & EMI card (described there as "Configure bank discounts and instalment plans shown to customers"). This takes you to /settings/offers-emi. Only store admins and super admins can see this settings card and screen.

The screen has two independent sections: Bank offers and EMI plans.

Bank offers

Key points

  • A table lists every configured offer: Bank, Discount, Minimum order, Dates, and a row Actions menu.
  • Add bank offer opens a dialog to create a new one.

Open the dialog

Select Add bank offer.

Identify the bank and card

Enter the Bank name, then pick a Card type — Credit, Debit, Credit and debit, or Wallet.

Set the discount

Choose a Discount type — Percentage or Fixed amount — then enter the Discount value. For a percentage discount, you can also cap it with a Maximum discount amount.

Set the order threshold and validity

Enter a Minimum order value the discount requires, and a Valid from / Valid to date range.

Add terms and save

Optionally add Terms, and use the Active toggle to control whether this offer is currently live. Save to add it to the table.

EMI plans

Key points

  • A table lists every configured plan: Provider, Months, Interest, Minimum order, and a row Actions menu.
  • Add EMI plan opens a dialog to create a new one.

Open the dialog

Select Add EMI plan.

Identify the provider

Enter the Provider or bank name and pick a Card type.

Set the tenure and rate

Enter the number of Months and the Interest rate.

Set the order threshold and flags

Enter a Minimum order value, then use the No-cost EMI switch to mark a plan where the customer pays no extra interest, and the Active switch to control whether it's currently live.

Editing and removing an entry

Open a row's Actions menu to edit an existing bank offer or EMI plan (the same dialog you used to create it, pre-filled), or delete it. Deleting either type of entry asks you to confirm first.

What this screen doesn't show shoppers yet

As of this wave, saving a bank offer or EMI plan here does not yet surface it anywhere on the customer-facing storefront — there's no badge on the product page or checkout summarising these offers today. Treat this screen as recording the terms you offer through your own bank/payment partner communications, not as something that automatically changes what a shopper sees on your store. If a merchant reports "I added a bank offer but customers can't see it," that's expected current behavior, not a bug — check back here as this feature matures rather than troubleshooting it as broken.

Next steps

  • Coupons — for discounts you want customers to actually redeem at checkout today.
